European Researchers' Night 2023
Last week I had the opportunity to participate in the European Researchers’ Night 2023 as a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow. The European Researchers’ Night is a Europe-wide public event, which displays the diversity of science and its impact on citizens’ daily lives in fun, inspiring ways. This year the event took place in 26 countries on Friday 29 September 2023. In Cyprus, the event was organized by the Research and Innovation Foundation and took place at the State Fair in Nicosia.
At the event, I had the pleasure of connecting with so many enthusiastic students, teachers, and parents. It was a fantastic chance to dive into the world of science. I had the opportunity to explain how datacenters are essential to our modern society and sharing insights from my own research on making them more energy-efficient. It was thrilling to discuss how my work at the intersection of datacenter computing and sustainability can help create greener, more efficient systems for the future.
Overall, it was an unforgettable experience, filled with curiosity, great conversations, and plenty of excitement!
